Docklight Labs builds simple, offline-first Android apps. This page describes our general app practices and this website. App-specific privacy policies and service disclosures explain any differences.
Our offline utilities do not require accounts or collect personal data. If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address and project details, to respond to your request.
Some apps store data locally on your device — such as lists, settings, or preferences. For offline apps, this data stays on your device. Web tools disclose any optional network processing separately.
Most Docklight Labs apps do not require internet access and function entirely offline. Any app that does access the internet will disclose this clearly in its Play Store listing.
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking services in our apps. We do not sell user data. Optional web features and payments use the providers described below.
Some apps offer optional one-time in-app purchases via Google Play Billing. All payment processing is handled entirely by Google. We do not collect or store any payment information.
This website is hosted by GitHub Pages. Hosting providers may process technical request information such as IP addresses. We do not add advertising trackers or analytics to the homepage or List Scrubber.
List Scrubber reads your CSV in your browser. Domain checks send domain names to Google’s DNS service, and the disposable-domain list is downloaded from a public source. If you choose Deep Verify, surviving email addresses are sent to DockLight’s verifier for SMTP checks. No email message is sent. Network checks require internet access.
The website’s optional tip jar links to Ko-fi. Ko-fi and its payment providers process payment details under their own privacy policies. We do not receive your full card details. Information those providers make available to us may include your name, email, message, and transaction details.
Google Play purchases use Google Play Billing. If we introduce direct checkout for products or services, the checkout will identify the processor and this policy will be updated to describe the information we receive.
Any device permissions requested by our apps (such as file access) are used solely to provide app functionality and are not used to collect personal information.
Our apps are not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any data from children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised date.
